Gaelic football Pan-European finals

• Saturday 17 October (9am-5pm), Plaine des Jeux de Gerland, 405 avenue Jean Jaurès, Lyon 69007

A tournament gathering more than 60 GAA clubs in Europe, 600 players are expected. Music, drinks, nibbles and activities will take place during the day. Free entry.

Irish traditional Music and Dance classes

· Thursday, October 1st (from 6.30 pm) and every following Thursday evening, Maison Basque, 59 avenue Gabriel-Péri Saint-Ouen, 93400

Come and try one (or several) of our 17 workshops - all main Irish traditional instruments, set and step dancing, traditional singing, from beginner to advanced levels. Free trial workshop before registration.

Irish harp with our new teacher Ciara Fegan

· Every Monday evening (except school holidays), Espace Camac, 92, rue Petit, Paris 75019.

Weekly classes for beginners (6:45-7:45pm) and confirmed harpists (8-9:00pm)

Both classes are held on instruments lent free of charge to avoid transport (possibility to rent a harp to practice at home).

The class for beginners is now full (but possible opening of a second class: please contact us via email if interested).

Monthly workshop: "Around the Irish accordion"

A workshop dedicated to accordionists, and all those wanting to play other traditional instruments, with a focus on discovering the specific repertoire of the Irish accordion.
