The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for appointment to the governance bodies of the Centre Culturel Irlandais (CCI) in Paris. The Centre is Ireland’s cultural flagship in continental Europe, based in the historic Irish College founded in 1578. Further information on the work of the CCI is available on its website.
The CCI is administered by the Fondation Irlandaise, a public non-profit foundation established under French law and governed by appointees of the Irish and French Governments. The Fondation is governed by a Conseil d’administration, comprising fourteen members, seven appointed by France and seven appointed by Ireland. The Conseil meets in Paris twice a year.
