Opening hours
The Consulate accepts visits by appointment only.
Our telephone lines are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. An emergency out-of-hours consular assistance phone line service is also provided.

The Consulate General is located in the Metlife Building, located at 200 Park Avenue.
The closest subway station is 42nd St-Grand Central Terminal Station, which is served by the 4/5/6/7 and Time Square shuttle train.
The Metro North Railroad also takes you to Grand Central. Once in Grand Central, please locate the escaltors directing you to the Metlife Building in the main hall. This will lead you to our building lobby.
The 42st-Bryant Park station is three blocks away and is served by the BDFM trains. If entering from outside the building, the main enterance can be found outside 79 E 45th street.
Please note that, as with most large office buildings in New York City, photo ID is required to access the Consulate’s building.
