All visa applications should be mailed to the following address:

Please note that the Consulate will not confirm receipt of visa applications; please check the status with your mail carrier. There is currently no facility to drop-off visa applications in person.
The Consulate does not provide status updates on visa applications due to the high volume of visa applications received and processed. We will only contact you if something is missing from your application. Please note that the current processing time is between 15-20 working days. We will do our best to accommodate your travel dates.

Citizenship Information
All Foreign Birth Registration (FBR) applications are now managed centrally in Dublin. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your application only. For general queries about the FBR process, please consult the detailed information at Foreign Birth Registration office in Dublin.
New applications should be made online at fbr.dfa.ie.
Passport Information and Webchcat
To apply for a first time Irish passport, or to renew your Irish passport, please apply online at Passport Online - Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
To check the status of your passport application, please track it through the DFAT Track your Passport.
