• KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: EIIC and the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers (CIIC) continue to provide important information to the community about the rights everyone living in the United States has if stopped by an ICE agent at home and/or in the workplace.
• CITIZENSHIP & TEST PRACTICE CLASSES. EIIC is once again offering free online Citizenship Classes for permanent resident card / green card holders and ongoing Virtual Citizenship Test Practice Classes. For more information and/or to register please email coordinator@eiic.org.
• SOCIAL SERVICES: Comprehensive support for the well-being of immigrants and older adults. Programs include Benefits and Entitlements Case Management, Social, Outreach and Advocacy Events; (VITA) Free Tax Preparation; and Psychotherapy and supportive counseling and referrals. • HEALTHCARE INSURANCE ASSISTANCE: Important enrollment and renewal periods for healthcare programs take place during the fall. EIIC Healthcare Access Assistance services are free and provide assistance NYC Care, Community Health Advocates, and New York State of Health Affordable Healthcare, Medicaid, and Medicare programs. • October 25th–November 15th: With dramaturgy from Tony-winning playwright Enda Walsh and a score featuring music by Lankum, choreographer Oona Doherty’s new dance-theatre piece SPECKY CLARK tells a fantastical and darkly funny tale of her great-great-grandfather’s boyhood journey to Belfast. • September 25th-November 15th: Described as "unnervingly on-the-pulse," Irish Repertory Theatre's The Hairy Ape plays for just another few weeks. Follow along the journey of a dark-souled, brutish ship laborer known as Yank as he searches for belonging in a world controlled by the rich and powerful. Don't miss this thrilling revival of Eugene O’Neill’s existentialist masterpiece!
• November 2nd-November 23rd at 7pm: Join us for Irish Repertory Theatre's annual New Works Fall Festival as part of our New Play Development Program. • November 7th to December 13th: Irish Repertory Theatre is delighted to welcome three-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald to star in The Good Thief, a one-man play about a small-time Irish gangster facing the consequences of his crimes.
• November 21st to January 3rd: Irish Repertory Theatre is bringing back one of New York City’s most sought-after holiday theatrical events, The Dead, 1904. Come experience James Joyce’s beloved story in a richly immersive experience at the American Irish Historical Society on Fifth Avenue.
