Bloomsday & Beyond!

June 13: Dog Ears Bookstore in Buffalo, NY is celebrating Bloomsday with a full day of festivities. Pick up a Bloomsday passport and map at the store, then visit nine participating local businesses to collect stamps and enjoy special discounts along the way. Completed pasports can be dropped off at the Buffalo Irish Center, where fully stamped entries will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Dog Ears Bookstore gift card. The bookstore will also host a free book giveaway and traditional soda bread contest.

June 16: Little City Books in Hoboken, NJ puts on a show for Bloomsday! The show will include Asher Muldoon reading the lewdest of Joyce's letters to Nora Barnacle; a game show, and original songs written for the occasion. Purchase a contemporary Irish book which gets you a free copy of Ulysses, a drink ticket to one or more of our neighboring Irish bars, and a show.

June 16: Stop by The Cozy Corner Bookstore in Pittsburgh, PA for readings from Ulysses and free books by Irish authors!

June 16: Stop by The Center for Fiction Bookstore in Brooklyn, NY a free copy of Ulysses, The Springs of Affection, or An Arrow in Flight and a limited edition bookmark while supplies last!

June 16: The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center in Danbury, CT hosts its annual Bloomsday Party with readings from Ulysses interspaced with music and song to tell the story. Wear your best Edwardian garb, drink tea, and eat well!

June 16: The Rosenbach Museum & Library in Philadelphia, PA throws its annual Bloomsday Festival. Come for the readings and guided tours of the museum, historic house, and galleries. After that programme ends at 6:00 p.m., enjoy a special one-woman performance of Molly’s Soliloquy at Sunset begins featuring Philadelphia actor Kirsten Quinn!

June 16: The James Joyce Society, Irish American Writers & Artists, and the Irish Business Organization present 'Bloomsday 2026: A Shout in the Street' at Dive 106 in NYC. Their 6th Annual Event will feature readings from 'Ulysses,' a reception, and trivia.

June 16: River Edge Library in New Jersey proudly hosts The Bloomsday Celebration: a Global Literary Celebration of James Joyce's Novel 'Ulysses.' Come for readings, songs, Stories & a James Joyce Sheet Cake. Co-Sponsored by The Friends of Oradell Public Library & The Friends of the Library of River Edge.

June 16: Bloomsday at Ulysses NYC is the definitive local tribute to James Joyce's seminal work.
