We have a wide range of consular services that we provide for Irish citizens, including passports. We provide consular assistance to Irish citizens in emergencies and you can contact us if you need help. You can also find information on visa requirements for visiting Ireland.
Important notice: Visa application processing changes
Please note that effective 15 October 2025, The Consulate General of Ireland, Boston will cease processing visa’s for visa required nationals traveling to Ireland who reside in MA, ME, NH, RI, & VT.
All future Visa applications and supporting documents should be submitted to the Embassy of Ireland in Washington D.C. at 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, The Mills Building Suite 700, Washington, D.C. 20006 as advised via AVATS.
Visa Applications received before 15 October 2025 will continue to be processed by the Consulate.
