The EPSO AD7 ICT competition (EPSO/AD/429/26) is a large-scale recruitment drive for experienced IT professionals to join the European Union civil service as permanent administrators. 

It is one of the most significant tech competitions in years, seeking 782 successful candidates to be placed on a reserve list for future hiring.

Candidates can apply for only one of the following four fields:

  • ICT Infrastructure (204 laureates)
  • ICT Project Management (228 laureates)
  • Clouds & Networks (166 laureates)
  • Data Science (184 laureates)

Supports we offer for the EU recruitment process

The Department of Foreign Affairs offers Irish candidates support at all stages of the EU recruitment process. To help candidates prepare for the preliminary tests, we provide training packs in partnership with EU Training.

The Department also arranges free information and training sessions to help Irish candidates prepare for EU competitions. These sessions are open to all Irish citizens who have registered for a specific competition, or those who intend to do so.
