Make a difference with a career in the EU

Working with an EU institution or agency can give you the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people across the European Union. Many people find jobs with the European Commission, EU Council and European Parliament, as well as within many of the EU agencies, working across research, policy, public affairs, finance, funding, law, IT, translation, training and administration.

There is also the opportunity to gain experience through an EU traineeship or fellowship, aimed at graduates and students looking to start their career in Europe.

Supports available for EU job applications

The Irish Government is here to support Irish candidates who wish to pursue EU careers, and provides direct assistance for specific competitions. This includes practice material, interview preparation, and training packs for the EU Concours.
