The Permanent Representation of Ireland to the Council of Europe brings together Irish civil servants and diplomats, supported by locally recruited staff members.

Our main function is to promote and represent Ireland’s interests at the Council of Europe. We work to shape the organisation’s policies and to ensure Ireland’s interests are represented within its various bodies.
