Each year on 16 June, readers across the globe celebrate Bloomsday to honour the life and work of James Joyce, one of Ireland’s most iconic literary figures. Named after Leopold Bloom, the central character in Joyce’s ground-breaking novel Ulysses, Bloomsday captures the spirit of modernist literature and the beauty of everyday life told through extraordinary language. This year, we’re bringing that spirit to Bangkok with a special event that celebrates the many voices of Irish authors from different eras.
