𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 & 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱: 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀

Each year on 16 June, readers across the globe celebrate Bloomsday to honour the life and work of James Joyce, one of Ireland’s most iconic literary figures. Named after Leopold Bloom, the central character in Joyce’s ground-breaking novel Ulysses, Bloomsday captures the spirit of modernist literature and the beauty of everyday life told through extraordinary language. This year, we’re bringing that spirit to Bangkok with a special event that celebrates the many voices of Irish authors from different eras. Whether you are a literature fan or would like to discover something new, this is your chance to explore the evolution of Irish storytelling. From the wit of Oscar Wilde and the poetry of W.B. Yeats to the modern perspective of Sally Rooney, Irish literature has inspired readers for generations.
