Ireland In Tanzania 2022-2026

Ireland’s foreign policy, development co-operation policy and Strategy for Africa reflect our commitment to work in partnership to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This strategy sets out how the Embassy of Ireland in Dar es Salaam will deliver on this commitment over 2022-2026 in Tanzania and its five secondary accreditations: Burundi, Comoros, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Seychelles and the East African Community (EAC). A longstanding commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment runs through all aspects of the strategy, alongside more recent commitments to climate action.
