Economic study tour to Lubuskie - June 2026

On 15-16 June, Deputy Head of Mission, Brendan Farrell, along with economic counsellors from 14 other embassies in Poland, participated in an economic study tour to the Lubuskie Voivodeship.

As part of the tour they visited Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Nowa Sól, where they met with Polish senators Władysław Komarnicki and Wadim Tyszkiewicz, Marshall Sebastian Ciemnoczołowski, as well as officials from the Mayors’ offices and from the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. The study group also visited three companies located in the region: Ekoenergetyka-Polska, Nord Napędy Production and TPV Displays Polska.

The tour provided an opportunity to learn about the region’s economy as well as opportunities for future cooperation.
