Ambassador of Ireland to the Philippines

Dear friends, A chairde, mga kaibigan,

I am delighted to have arrived in the Philippines and honoured to be appointed as Ireland’s second resident Ambassador to the Philippines and the first woman to assume the role.

Together with my team, I look forward to advancing the excellent bilateral relations between Ireland and the Philippines particularly as the Philippines re-opens its Embassy in Dublin this year! I will ensure the Irish Embassy continues to support the vibrant Irish community dotted across the Philippines and that we provide exceptional consular and visa services.

I hope to continue Ireland’s strong engagement with the Philippines on shared priorities such as human rights and sustainable development, peacebuilding and combating climate change. The Embassy team will also work to enhance trade and investment opportunities for Irish and Filipino companies alike, and strengthen our cultural and educational ties.

Also coming from an island nation, I cannot wait to explore as many of the Philippines’ 7,640 islands as possible and strengthen the connections with Filipino communities across the country.
