Irish Cities and Towns Photo Competition 2025

As Summer time is here, the Consulates in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester are inviting all of you to enter our exciting Photo Competition.

The overall winning entry will be displayed on Tourism Ireland’s GB Facebook page. There will be prizes for one winner from Wales, Scotland and the North of England.

To be part of this competition, simply upload your best photo of an Irish city or town in Ireland.

The photos will be judged by staff from each Consulate with support from Tourism Ireland.

How to Enter

  • Upload the photo here
  • Send your full name, photo location, contact details and Consulate region to celticcompetitions@dfa.ie, so we can contact you in relation to the competition and use of your photo.
  • Entries close at midnight on Wednesday 9 July.

Terms and Conditions

By submitting a photo to the competition, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • All photos entered must be the work of the individual who submits them.
  • You will always retain the full copyright to your photos, but by entering the competition, you agree to the use of submitted photos by partner organisations including Tourism Ireland and the Consulates in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester with credit to the photographer.
  • If there are any identifiable persons in your submitted photo, you must ensure that the photographed persons have given consent for the photo to be entered into the competition, and used by Tourism Ireland and the Consulates in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester.
  • You must ensure that submitted photos do not infringe any rights of any third party and you will indemnify us of any infringement on the rights of a third party including but not limited to copyright and privacy.
  • The Consulates will not accept photographs that violate a person’s rights or photos of inappropriate, offensive, obscene or sexually explicit character.
  • Entrants also agree to the Tourism Ireland Terms and Conditions as outlined here.
