Consulate history
The Consulate General of Ireland was based in Chicago's iconic Wrigley Building at 400 N. Michigan Avenue from 1933 to 2011. In 2011, the Consulate moved across the Chicago River to the 18th floor of the Kemper Building at 1 East Wacker Drive.
In 2025, the Consulate relocated across the river once again returning to North Michigan Avenue, moving into its new, dedicated Ireland House Chicago office space at 401 N. Michigan Avenue.
