What is the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the UN in Geneva?

At the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the UN in Geneva, we work to promote effective international action in line with Ireland’s foreign policy priorities on global issues such as human rights, disarmament, humanitarian action, global health and trade.

The Mission is headed by the Ambassador of Ireland to the United Nations and other International Organisations in Geneva, Mr. Noel White. The team of the Mission are drawn from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and the Department of Health.
