It is a great honour and privilege to serve as Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Thailand

Although Ireland and Thailand are geographically distant, the ties between our two nations have never been stronger. In 2025, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, marking five decades of friendship and cooperation across a wide range of areas, including trade, education, culture, and tourism.

During my term as Ambassador, I will work to strengthen the vibrant people-to-people connections that have long been at the heart of our relationship.

Since arriving in Thailand, my family and I have been touched by the kindness and generosity extended to us. It is a privilege to represent Ireland in a country with which we enjoy such a warm and longstanding friendship.

I am proud to lead a dedicated team here at the Embassy and look forward to supporting an even deeper partnership and friendship between our two countries in the years ahead.
