My name is Damien Cole, and it is an honour to serve as the 8th Ambassador of Ireland to the Republic of Singapore.

On behalf of the Embassy team, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.

Ireland and Singapore share a vibrant and growing partnership. As two outward-looking island nations, we share common values, including a strong commitment to multilateralism, the rules based international order, and free and sustainable global trade. In recent years, our political, economic, and educational ties have strengthened significantly, underpinned by a shared focus on innovation, research, the green transition, and technological advancement.

The Embassy is also strongly committed to supporting the Irish community organisations, activities and initiatives, while also promoting Irish culture and strengthening the people-to-people links that connect Ireland and Singapore.

As Ireland’s Ambassador to Singapore, I look forward to working with our partners across government, business, academia and civil society to further deepen our bilateral relations and to identify new opportunities for cooperation and collaboration. Together with our state agencies, Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland, we will continue to support trade, investment and business links, helping to strengthen the growing economic partnership between Ireland and Singapore.
