St Patrick's Day in Poland

Each year, we celebrate St Patrick's Day, Ireland’s national day, on 17 March.

St Patrick’s Day has become a true global celebration, including here in Poland, with many events and initiatives taking place across the country.

This year, the Embassy looks forward to welcoming Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Thomas Byrne TD, for a series of engagements.

We are happy to be joined by people across Poland marking the occasion every year, and to see these events continue to grow.

Green Tech forum

This year, on 16 March, a Saint Patrick’s Day Irish-Polish Green Tech forum organised by Enterprise Ireland Warsaw will take place. The focus of the event is on Renewables and Smart cities. Industry leaders, innovators and decarbonisation organisations from Ireland and Poland will gather in a round table format to exchange insights, explore collaboration opportunities, and to discuss practical solutions shaping the future of sustainable cities.

St Patrick's Day Business Mixer

On 16 March, the St. Patrick’s Day Business Mixer will take place in Warsaw. It is an annual event organised jointly by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish Polish Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Prom Kultury

Prom Kultury in Saska Kępa, Warsaw, will hold a Saint Patrick’s concert on 15 March 2026. Details and tickets at Dzień Św. Patryka – koncert Beltaine – Prom Kultury Saska Kępa.

St. Patrick’s Long Weekend at Elektrownia Powiśle

Elektrownia Powiśle will be hosting a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day from 13-17 March. There will be live concerts, Irish dancing, face painting, photo booths, and a chance to print your photo on the Guinness foam!

The Kraków Philharmonic

Kraków Philharmonic will hold a special Irish concert on 15 March 2026. You can find details at the following page Filharmonia Krakowska.

ERIU Anniversary Concert

On St. Patrick's Day, the Kraków-based Irish Dance Ensemble ERIU will celebrate its 20th anniversary. You can enjoy their special performance at Ludowy Theatre on 16 March, accompanied by live music from the Sheeban Celtic Band. Details here: Dzień św. Irish Culture Foundation

As in previous years, the Irish Culture Foundation is celebrating St Patrick's Day with a whole range of events.

On 14 March, the Foundation is partnering with the Archeological Museum in Poznan for a St Patrick's Day celebration in the courtyard of Górków Palace. Green workshops and museum games will begin at 11.00 until 14.00. Find out more here.
