The following is a list of fees charged for Consular Services carried out by the Embassy. For further details on these services, please check the relevant section of our website.
Please note we have now moved to online payments for applications for a Certificate of Freedom to Marry and a Foreign Birth Registration.
Marriages Abroad
Please have your debit/credit card details and the required supporting documents ready before you begin your application.
You should expect to receive your Certificate of Freedom for your marriage abroad within 8 weeks of the date of marriage if submitted within the correct timeframe.
Late fee
If you submit your application 28 days or less before the date of your intended marriage you will have to pay an additional fee of €60 per Irish applicant.

Registering a Foreign Birth
Please have your debit/credit card details and all the required supporting documents ready before you begin your application.
Applications for Foreign Birth Registration can take up to six months to process from the date of receipt of a complete application with all the required supporting documentation.

Passports and Miscellaneous Charges
Please note that fees must be paid in cash at the Embassy in Moscow. Payments must be made in Rubles and the Embassy will apply the prevailing exchange rate.
