Announcement of the Membership for the Oversight Group for Ireland’s fourth National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security
Ireland’s fourth National Action Plan (NAP) on Women, Peace and Security 2025-2030 was launched by Tánaiste and then-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Harris in Iveagh House in Dublin in September 2025
The Plan calls for the establishment of an Oversight Group (OG) to be “appointed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade to oversee the delivery and review of progress of the National Action Plan”, to consist equally of representatives from relevant government departments and state agencies, and representatives from civil society and academia, along with an independent Chair.
Following the receipt of nominations from the relevant government departments and state agencies, and an open call for expressions of interest for representatives from civil society and academia, the Minister has nominated the following as members of the Oversight Group for the fourth National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security.
