How much does a passport cost? Passport Online is the quickest and most cost effective way to apply for your passport.

There is an additional €5 postal fee for each child application to cover the cost of returning documents to the applicant.
There is an additional €15 postal fee if you reside outside Ireland.
Please note that a single payment of €15 applies to applications for children resident outside Ireland.

The fee for a single application is €9.50 and the fee for up to four applications made at the same time is €16.

Irish passports can be renewed for the above fees using Passport Online. Irish citizens resident in the countries listed here can apply for first time passports at the above costs using Passport Online.
