Strengthening Ireland's cultural and business connections in Denmark
The Embassy of Ireland in Denmark works closely with a wide range of organisations that help strengthen Ireland's presence across Danish society.
Two of the most important partners in this work are the Irish Culture Association Denmark (ICAD) and the Irish Chamber of Commerce Denmark (ICCD).
Ireland's Cultural and Business Connections in Denmark
The Irish Culture Association Denmark (ICAD)
The Irish Culture Association Denmark plays a vital role in celebrating and promoting Irish culture throughout Denmark. Through cultural events, community initiatives, traditional music and dance, workshops, and activities such as the Copenhagen St. Patrick's Day Parade, the association brings people together and creates opportunities for cultural exchange between Irish, Danish and international communities. ICAD provides a welcoming space for anyone with an interest in Ireland and its rich cultural heritage.
The Irish Chamber of Commerce Denmark (ICCD)
The Irish Chamber of Commerce Denmark supports and strengthens professional, commercial and academic links between Ireland and Denmark. As an independent, not-for-profit organisation, it connects Irish and Danish businesses, professionals and academic communities, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, knowledge exchange and long-term growth across both markets.
Partnership with the Embassy
Working in partnership with both organisations significantly expands the Embassy's reach and ability to engage with the Irish community in Denmark. Through their extensive networks, the Embassy can better support Irish citizens, connect with Irish businesses, foster cultural and commercial ties, and strengthen relationships with organisations and individuals associated with Ireland across Denmark.
Together, the Embassy, the Irish Culture Association Denmark and the Irish Chamber of Commerce Denmark continue to build vibrant connections that benefit Ireland, Denmark and the wider Irish community.
