2026 St Patrick’s Day Events in Chile

Throughout the month of March, and since 1996, Chile has joined the global celebrations of St Patrick’s Day with a programme that brings together communities to enjoy film, live music, and dance. The 2026 agenda reflects the vitality of Irish culture and the ties between Ireland and Chile through initiatives driven by cultural venues, producers and local communities.

Oro de Irlanda – Irish cinema under the stars

The Embassy of Ireland in Chile and Matucana 100 present the second edition of the film showcase “Oro de Irlanda”, a special open-air screening featuring internationally awarded Irish short films, including the Oscar-winning An Irish Goodbye. The event is free with prior registration and will include a welcome cocktail courtesy of our friends at Jameson.

St Patrick’s Day in Las Condes – Irish music and dance for the whole family

The Cultural Corporation of Las Condes invites the public to a family-friendly St Patrick’s Day celebration featuring Irish music and dance.

The programme includes a Celtic fair and food trucks, Celtic dance workshops, traditional games, Irish dance performances, music by Irish-traditional music band, Banda Tara, and, at 18:45, a festive parade.

An open community event inviting audiences to discover Irish culture through its music, dance and festive spirit.

St Patrick’s Day Festival in Pirque – craft beer and community spirit

The craft brewery Tübinger is hosting its St Patrick’s Day Festival at its Taproom in Pirque on 14 and 15 March. The event promises a true Irish-style celebration, including a tribute to The Cranberries, live music, children’s games, traditional dance and activities for the whole family.

During the two days of celebration, visitors will be able to enjoy more than ten varieties of beer, including the classic green beer.

St. Patrick’s Day in Ñuñoa – experience the best of Irish music

The traditional St Patrick’s Day celebration will have a special edition in Ñuñoa as a large festive gathering that brings together Irish and Chilean traditions. The line-up includes Banda Conmoción, Kuervos del Sur and Lemon (a U2 tribute band), alongside Celtic Trío and The Shamrock Mates.

The event will feature live music, bagpipes and roaming dance performances, food trucks, craft beers—including the Irish-inspired Flannery’s brand brewed in Chile—and signature cocktails curated by Casa Conejo.

Viña El Escorial – St Patrick’s Day among the vineyards

Viña El Escorial will celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a special event featuring Irish music and dance performed by the group Gaoithe, highlighting the historical connections between Ireland and Chile.

The celebration pays tribute to Santiago Carey, founder of Viña El Escorial and of Irish descent, whose legacy forms part of the history of this vineyard in Panquehue. In this context, St Patrick’s Day becomes an opportunity to remember these shared roots and celebrate Irish culture in a setting that reflects the historical presence of the Irish diaspora in Chile.

Flannery’s Beer House – Four days of celebration at a classic Irish pub

We cannot fail to mention the pioneer of St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Chile. Since 1996, Flannery’s Beer House has hosted a programme of live bands and Celtic dance performances to celebrate the occasion.
